About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our team in the Department of Industry, Science and Resources. As a key member of our Financial Management Division, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial advice to senior executives and managers across the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and priorities.
  • Provide expert financial advice on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Oversee the preparation and management of annual budgets and staffing allocations.
  • Supervise a team of finance professionals to deliver high-quality financial services.
  • Collaborate with other teams to drive business improvement and financial acumen across the department.
Requirements
  • Relevant accounting qualifications and experience in a government or commercial environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex financial issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience with financial management systems, including TechnologyOne.
