Flight Operations Manager

LITTLE WINGS, a not-for-profit organisation, is seeking an experienced aviation professional to manage its volunteer pilots and oversee flight operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruitment, training, and scheduling of volunteers, as well as ensuring safe and timely transport for seriously ill children.
This challenging role demands a highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of aviation regulations and experience in managing complex logistics. They will also possess a pilot's license and relevant flying hours.
About the Role- Recruit, train, and schedule volunteer pilots to ensure safe and efficient flight operations.
- Develop and implement safety management systems to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to develop and implement effective logistics strategies.
- Prepare monthly operations reports and provide analysis to stakeholders.
- Pilot's license and minimum 1000 hours of flying time.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
