Our team is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our children's services.

Key responsibilities will include providing direct care within a residential setting, ensuring a safe and nurturing home-like environment and promoting positive family relationships.

This role requires resilience to work within a trauma-informed framework that makes a real difference with young people who have complex needs and challenging behaviours.

As a Support Worker, you will be part of a dynamic team that prioritizes the well-being and development of young people in care. We are committed to supporting your professional growth through nationally recognised training and mentorship opportunities.

The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential Care), or equivalent, and be willing to complete additional training as required.

Other essential qualifications include a valid Australian full driver's licence, working rights, and the ability to undergo a Child Safety and Personal Screening Check.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting young people who have experienced trauma and has a disability.

Some key aspects of this role include:

  • Availability to work any rostered shifts across a 24/7 roster model, including awake nights and sleepovers
  • Providing individualised support to meet the unique needs of each young person
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment
