Paediatric Occupational Therapist - Experienced on New Grad – Toowoomba, Queensland.

Employment Type: Permanent – Full-Time.

Practice Information:
This practice offers Occupational Therapy and Educational Support for children and young adults, aged 0-18. Their vision is to equip families and children with strategies and supports that enable them to become powerful advocators while helping to create a future paved with possibilities. Their mission is to provide support to families of children/young adults who have recently received a diagnosis or deemed eligible to receive services under NDIS guidelines but not currently able to access services due to extensive waiting lists.

Position Description:

Work alongside a welcoming team of Occupational Therapists, an Educator, and Dietitian, where shared learning, group work, and mentorship are woven into the everyday. They lean on each other, celebrate wins together, and navigate challenges side-by-side.

  • Shape your caseload, shape your career - Whether you're passionate about early intervention, love working with neurodivergent children, or want to co-lead group programs, they'll support you to build a caseload around your strengths and interests. This includes individual, joint, and group sessions.

  • Real flexibility - design a schedule that works for your life — choose your own hours and days, Monday to Friday. You can work from the clinic or deliver therapy where it matters most: in homes, schools, kindergartens, and community settings.

  • Support that lifts you up. Regular paid supervision to help you grow with confidence

  • Ongoing internal and external professional development aligned with your interests.

  • Option to purchase up to four additional weeks of annual leave

  • Laptop and phone provided for all clinical staff

  • Your role delivers meaningful, evidence-based therapy to children and families

  • Collaborate with caregivers and team members to provide holistic care

  • Design and implement customised therapy plans Monitor progress, celebrate achievements, and adjust interventions as needed

  • Participate in joint sessions and team planning for shared clients.

Position Requirements:

  • A Bachelor or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

  • Current registration with AHPRA and Occupational Therapy Australia

  • A warm, collaborative approach and excellent communication skills

  • A valid driver's licence

  • Working With Children

  • Check NDIS Worker Screening Check

  • Access to a vehicle (kilometre reimbursement provided)

After Hours Requirements: No

Salary Information:
$80,000 - $110,000 per annum.
