About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a commercially driven and results-oriented role as a Trauma Product Specialist in Mackay, QLD.

In this stand-alone position, you will inherit an established territory (over 90% market share) and be responsible for driving the Trauma business and contributing to the success of the greater team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets while enhancing existing business relationships
  • Providing exceptional theatre case coverage to clinical stakeholders
  • Developing trusted partnerships and leveraging data insights within the territory
  • Offering accurate product information and indications to customers
  • Establishing and delivering regular training for theatre personnel, partnering with our internal Professional Education team to offer high-level training opportunities
  • Actively managing consignment inventory and logistics of loan equipment
About You
  • Degree qualification in a Health-related field, Science, or Business, ideally 1-2 years experience in hospital sales and territory management
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in an operating theatre environment, participating in after-hours and weekend on-call work
  • Skilled in identifying customer pain points, expectations, and implicit needs, proactively seeking solutions
  • Strong communication, organisation and time management skills
