Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Safety Risk Manager to join our growing team based at a solar farm in regional NSW. As a key member of our site team, you will play a vital role in upholding safety standards and fostering a proactive safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and assist with hazard identification and risk assessments to mitigate potential threats.
  • Participate in and facilitate toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions to educate colleagues on safe working practices.
  • Lead incident investigations, ensuring accurate documentation and prompt implementation of corrective actions.
  • Collaborate closely with the site team to promote and maintain compliance with safety standards and legislation.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience in a direct HSE role, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or higher qualification.
  • A keen interest in safety within the construction or renewable energy sectors.
  • Prior experience in construction or solar projects (desired but not essential).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to learn and grow.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including professional development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a supportive team environment.
