We are seeking a highly skilled Ecological Advisor to lead and manage ecological components of large-scale projects.

  • This involves providing expert ecological guidance, conducting field assessments, and managing project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • The successful candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Ecology, Zoology, Botany, or Environmental Science, with 7+ years of experience in the field.

In this role, you will also represent the organisation in client and stakeholder meetings, delivering expert advice on ecological matters.

Mentoring and supporting junior team members through training and technical development is also an essential aspect of this position.

About the Opportunity
  • Lead and manage ecological assessments and reporting for complex infrastructure projects.
  • Deliver expert ecological guidance to clients and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and support junior team members.
  • Manage project planning, timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
Your Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Ecology, Zoology, Botany, or Environmental Science.
  • 7+ years of experience in ecological advisory roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Queensland and Commonwealth biodiversity legislation and environmental planning processes.
