**About this role**
The primary focus of this role is to provide input to a range of environmental related projects and associated statutory approvals. This will include large infrastructure projects and smaller projects in a diverse range of sectors including energy, local and state government and water. The role is part of a regional team, based in Brisbane, and may require some interstate travel. Experience in ACT, Victoria or NSW viewed favourably.

**What will I do?**
- Provide core environmental input for a broad range of projects, both within the Queensland Environment and Biodiversity team and for multi-disciplinary projects undertaken in the office/region
- Provide environmental input to bids and tenders
- Prepare project reports for clients summarising environmental outcomes and strategically advising on best outcomes
- Field work with the ecology team as required
- To liaise with other office discipline groups on such project related matters

**What will I bring?**
- 3-4 years of relevant industry experience in a consulting, private industry or a government environment
- Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in Environmental Management, Science, Planning, Engineering or similar
- Experience in environmental planning, impact assessment and/or statutory approval processes
- Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership
- Working toward accreditation through a professional institution;
