Job Description

The primary objective of this role is to drive sales growth and expand the client base for ICT solutions, including cloud services, cybersecurity, and managed service solutions. You will be instrumental in developing and executing a strategic sales plan, identifying new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and market research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting mid-market businesses (100–500 users).
  • Identify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and market research.
  • Drive end-to-end sales of ICT solutions including cloud services, cybersecurity, device management, and modern workplace technologies.
  • Lead client engagements from initial contact through to signed agreements, ensuring alignment with Entag's delivery capabilities.
  • Facilitate client workshops and discovery sessions to gather requirements and propose tailored solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and strategic partners such as Telstra and Microsoft.
  • Manage your sales pipeline using CRM and Telstra systems, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal technical leads to ensure proposed solutions are viable and aligned with client needs.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 5+ years of B2B ICT sales experience, ideally in a Business Development or MSP-focused role.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in competitive markets.
  • Ability to leverage an existing network of industry contacts to accelerate pipeline growth and drive early-stage opportunities is highly desired.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity principles, and device management.
  • Ability to articulate the strategic value of outsourcing IT services and managed solutions.
  • Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as ASD Essential 8 and Zero Trust.
  • Familiarity with the Australian ICT market and experience selling end-to-end managed services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with commercial acumen and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and sales tools to manage pipeline and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
