About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Child Protection Caseworker to join our team in the Assyrian community. As a Multicultural Child Protection Caseworker, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to reports of child harm or safety concerns and develop safety plans to protect children and young people.
  • Work collaboratively with parents, family members, children, and other agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Provide primary and secondary casework services to families from the Assyrian community.
  • Conduct cultural consultations and provide language support to other caseworkers working with families from the Assyrian community.

Requirements
  • A completed or in-progress Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Social Science, or Welfare, with practical experience.

  • A valid driver's license (P1 or above).
  • A paid working with children clearance number.
