Tern's Ecological Monitoring and Engagement Program is seeking a highly skilled Engagement Officer to develop standardised ecological monitoring protocols for impact assessments of renewable energy projects. The successful candidate will work closely with collaborators to achieve shared objectives and align efforts towards common outcomes.

The Engagement Officer will enjoy:

To be successful, you will need:

  • Experience in developing and delivering engagement plans in a complex environment
  • Proven experience in understanding consultation and collaboration with government clients to meet deliverables
  • Highly developed communication, report writing, website and interpersonal skills
  • Experience facilitating scientific workshops and managing timelines for the development of deliverables and engagement plans
  • Demonstrated ability to promote organisational values and commitment to compliance

Qualifications / Licences

A degree with subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
