The ideal candidate will have experience in environmental management, stakeholder engagement and project planning.
About the Role:- Lead the development and implementation of strategies to secure regulatory approvals for mining projects;
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and engagement;
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities and other key stakeholders;
- Navigate complex approval processes and negotiate agreements with landowners;
- Manage and coordinate project timelines, budgets and resources to achieve approved outcomes;
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with regulatory compliance;
- Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Biology, Natural Resource Management or a related field;
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the mining sector;
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, including experience working with regulatory authorities;
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations;
- Proven project management skills, including experience with project scheduling and budgeting;
