Corporate Strategy Consultant

Melbourne Airport is seeking a Corporate Strategy Consultant to join its team of experienced strategy professionals. The ideal candidate will develop and implement the airport's corporate strategy, strategic priorities, and support effective decision-making for both internal and external stakeholders.

The airport is in an exciting growth phase, delivering transformative projects and sustained passenger growth. As a Corporate Strategy Consultant, you will:

  • Be regarded as a go-to problem solver, delivering strategic insights and supporting effective decision-making
  • Act as a commercial advisor across the airport's business units, developing a common understanding of business priorities
  • Support projects informing strategic decisions at both an enterprise and Business Unit level, including:
  • Applying structured problem-solving approaches
  • Undertaking high-quality research and analysis
  • Designing and building advanced Excel models
  • Developing storyboards and presentations
  • Effectively communicating conclusions to stakeholders
  • Working with strategy team members, business subject matter experts, and external consultants

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in strategy/management consulting or a similar role in a large corporate organisation
  • High-level ability with data analysis, interrogation, and visualisation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills engaging stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to present findings accurately, compellingly, and succinctly
  • Disciplined project management skills
  • Industry sector experience in aviation, commercial property, retail, capital-intensive businesses
