Job Title: Housekeeping Assistant

About Us: We are committed to providing a clean and welcoming environment for our members at Anytime Fitness in Fairfield East. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our gym.

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail and a passion for cleanliness. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring all areas of the gym are kept clean, sanitised, and presentable at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning duties: Perform general cleaning tasks including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting.
  • Gym equipment and surfaces: Clean and sanitise gym equipment, surfaces, and common areas regularly.
  • Waste management: Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
  • Supply restocking: Restock cleaning supplies and notify management of any inventory needs.
  • Bathroom maintenance: Maintain cleanliness standards in bathrooms.
  • Health and safety: Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Additional tasks: Assist with other duties as needed to support the smooth operation of the gym.

Estimated Salary Range: AU$60,000 - AU$80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements:

  • Commercial cleaning experience: Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred.
  • Attention to detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
  • Time management: Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Communication skills: Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Physical stamina: Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
