Job Overview

We are currently seeking Home Care Support Workers to join our team in the Northern Rivers region. As a Home Care Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients by providing personalized support and care in their own homes.

Job Description

This is a casual position offering flexibility to suit your lifestyle. You will be responsible for assisting our clients with various tasks, including:

  • Assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Preparing meals and snacks
  • Light housekeeping and laundry
  • Providing medication reminders and administering medications (if trained)
  • Assisting with mobility and transferring
  • Engaging in conversation and companionship activities

You will work closely with our clients to understand their individual needs and preferences, and provide care that is tailored to their specific requirements.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III or IV in Community, Aged, or Disability Care
  • Experience working in a care or healthcare environment (preferably in-home care)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A driver's license and comprehensive insurance
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Card
