Community Home Care Worker

This role involves travelling between clients' homes and assisting them with daily living and lifestyle requirements by providing person-centred care and support.

  • Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
  • Social support/transportation: social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments
  • Supporting customers in the use of aids including standing or walking frames and wheelchairs.
  • Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
Key Skills Required:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to meet changing client needs

Australian Federal Police Clearance, Current CPR / First Aid Certificate, NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain), Current Australian Driver's Licence, Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is required) and Smartphone with internet access are essential for this role.
