Job Title: HRIS Specialist

A pivotal moment in the evolution of Avant's Human Resource Information System (HRIS) has led to the creation of an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Dayforce HRIS Specialist.

This role offers the unique chance to shape the future of our HRIS platform while directly impacting the experience of thousands of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience with Dayforce configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.

  • Lead System Excellence:
    • Own the Dayforce platform as our primary subject matter expert, driving configuration, maintenance, and optimization strategies
    • Transform post-implementation challenges into opportunities for system enhancement and business value
  • Solve Complex Challenges:
    • Diagnose and resolve sophisticated technical issues with a solutions-focused mindset
    • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to implement sustainable fixes that prevent recurring issues
  • Drive Business Partnership:
    • Collaborate closely with our People & Culture team to translate business needs into powerful Dayforce configurations
    • Support payroll operations with framework design, automation opportunities, and compliance assurance
  • Deliver Proactive Support:
    • Anticipate system needs before they become issues, maintaining a service-first approach
    • Enable smooth day-to-day HRIS operations across the organization

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of Dayforce architecture, capabilities, and integration possibilities. They will be able to communicate technical concepts effectively to diverse stakeholders and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Experience with payroll remediation projects in Dayforce, knowledge of HR business process implementation in HRIS systems, and system integration and data migration expertise are valued additional skills.
