International Procurement Specialist

Job Overview

This role is focused on sourcing goods from international suppliers. It involves coordinating with the operations team to obtain materials, as well as working with freight forwarders and logistics companies to ensure timely delivery.

Main Responsibilities
  • Review and generate demand requirements for purchase orders through SAP
  • Confirm price and availability of goods and services
  • Produce weekly reports for meetings with overseas suppliers
  • Review weekly reports for data integrity
  • Monitor status of purchase orders with international suppliers
  • Manage international cargo and coordinate with freight forwarders
  • Obtain shipping documents from international suppliers
  • Generate drop shipment invoices to end customers
  • Prepare air freight quotes as requested
  • Collate shipping documents and send to customs agents for clearance
  • Manage direct shipment of cargo to customer sites
Qualifications
  • Degree in Business - desirable
  • 2 years experience with SAP system - desirable
  • 5 years international purchasing experience required
