Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Caregiver to join our team at Advantage Healthcare Support. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing person-centered support to our clients, assisting with daily living activities, and promoting their independence and well-being. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to clients with disabilities
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and medication management
  • Transport clients to appointments and engage them in community activities
  • Support clients with challenging behaviors and develop strategies to promote their well-being
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on client progress and development
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in a community-based setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (WWCC)
