We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Senior Planning Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful planning and execution of capital works, master plan designs, and approval pathways. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your skills in urban or town planning, environmental science, land use planning, or other related fields to drive growth and development in our community.Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development of regulatory approval pathways to support the pipeline of projects for existing and future assets.
  • Coordinate planning applications and approvals to support the development of new and expansion of existing facilities.
  • Provide general advice on technical planning and land acquisitions.
  • Coordinate stakeholders for planning assessments and applications, ensuring alignment with project scopes and timeline before submitting Development Application.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders for approvals processes, the development and lodgement of town planning applications and approvals.
Requirements:
  • A relevant degree in urban or town planning, environmental science, land use planning, or other related field.
  • Ability to liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Possess a passion for planning and development for community benefit.
