Event Production Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Event Producer to deliver exceptional events. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to producing outstanding results.

The role is fixed term until November 2026, with full-time hours (35 per week) and rostered days off as part of our 9-day fortnight scheme.

About The Role
  • Developing and implementing event strategies that drive engagement and satisfaction.
  • Managing all aspects of event production, from conception to delivery.
  • Coordinating multiple major community events simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting internal and external stakeholders for Council and local community events.
  • Coordinating the delivery of Council's major event program and ancillary events.
  • Managing pre-production, production, and post-production requirements.
  • Ensuring events reflect best practices in creativity, risk/safety, and community engagement.
Requirements
  • Degree in event management or equivalent industry experience.
  • Proven experience in event production for indoor and outdoor events.
  • Comprehensive understanding of legislative requirements for community events.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple major community events simultaneously.
