Job Overview

The Vickery Group is seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to join their team. As a key player in the company's growth, you will be responsible for driving sales and building lasting relationships with new and existing clients.

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and define the sales strategy for both reinforcing steel and temporary fencing solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in the Toowoomba region.
  • Generate new leads and identify sales opportunities for both reinforcing steel and temporary fencing.
  • Provide product information, technical support, and quotations to clients.
  • Understand client needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Negotiate and close sales effectively, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and timely delivery.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular reports on sales activities.
  • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Represent both brands at industry events, promoting the full range of services.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a sales role, preferably within the construction or related industry.
  • Strong dedication to providing exceptional customer service and a track record of building lasting client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive, results-oriented approach with a strong ability to meet sales targets.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A genuine interest in the construction industry and a willingness to learn about both reinforcing steel and temporary fencing solutions.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
