Job Opportunity:

Aurizon's Bulk team is expanding in regional NSW, and we're seeking skilled locomotive operators to join our team in Broken Hill. As a key player in Australia's growing containerised freight market, you'll operate locomotives, examine and certify trains, and provide excellent customer service.

About the Role:

  • Operate locomotives on mainline, shunting, and marshalling duties
  • Examine and certify trains as ready for departure
  • Maintain a high level of on-time running
  • Prepare and conduct brake testing on locomotives
  • Provide high-quality customer service

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong commitment to safety and our safety strategy
  • Availability to work 24/7 shift roster
  • Experience in NSW & SA Safe working System (advantageous)
  • Extensive freight and/or heavy haulage locomotive driving experience
  • Certificate IV in Rail Operations (or equivalent) and current unrestricted Class C drivers' licence
