Job Title

A locomotive driver is required to operate trains, including mainline and shunting operations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in freight and/or heavy haulage locomotive driving, as well as a Certificate IV in Rail Operations or equivalent.

About the Role

  • Operate locomotives safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure trains are ready for departure by examining and certifying them.
  • Maintain high levels of on-time running.
  • Prepare and conduct brake testing on locomotives.
  • Provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Strong commitment to safety.
  • Availability to work 24/7 shift roster.
  • Experience in NSW & SA Safe working System an advantage.
