Electrical Construction Expert Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Construction Specialist to join our project delivery team in Perth, Australia.

The successful candidate will contribute to the overall planning, direction, organization, and execution of all electrical construction work, ensuring highest safety and quality levels within time and costs constraints.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to constructability process, development and review of electrical construction related documentation, manuals, plans, policies and procedures;
  • Provides technical support to other project functions as needed.
  • Ensures Electrical Work Package program is integrated into execution planning and defined to a sufficient level for the project phase.
  • Maintains high level of customer service with client representatives.
  • Contributes to development of electrical requirements for pre-assembly and/or modularisation.
  • Contributes to site organisation and staffing requirements and Plant and Equipment profiles, required to execute electrical activities within project schedule and acceptable costs.
  • Contributes to ongoing maintenance of capital estimates, schedule and design as they pertain to electrical construction.
  • Will be willing to travel to and work on site where necessary.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated health and safety management focus in all phases of project delivery, with extensive knowledge of health and safety management procedures, safe work practices, and applicable legislation.
  • General knowledge of electrical construction, engineering, procurement, contracts, scheduling.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Electrical Trade, with 7+ years electrical construction management experience in heavy or industrial construction.
  • Able to motivate and lead discipline-focused teams and fit into a team environment.
  • Effective communication, report writing skills, planning, organisational and oral skills.
  • Able to communicate directly with client on key issues.
  • Knowledge of EPCM model of project delivery including activities, interfaces and interdependencies of all project disciplines.
