The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards are met across our suppliers and restaurants. This includes compliance with animal welfare, food safety, and health authority regulations, as well as due diligence for new products and equipment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Food Safety Program compliance with legislation and FSANZ standards
  • Liaise with Operations Excellence team for field compliance
  • Be the first point of call for suppliers on food specification and technical issues
  • Work with Operations Excellence Manager to develop procedures for restaurant implementation and new equipment
  • Source ingredients for new products with technical input into the selection process

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science / Technology, Nutrition
  • Solid operational experience in a restaurant environment, preferably quality assurance in a multi-site environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, especially Excel and Word
  • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Able to bring projects to timely conclusion and prepare concise reports
