The Head of Philanthropy, Cumming Global Centre for Pandemic Therapeutics is a senior leadership position within the University's advancement team, working closely with the Cumming Global Centre and The Doherty Institute.
The appointee will play a key role in driving the Centre's philanthropic campaign, including the development of the Centre's strategic plan, and working in partnership with professional and academic colleagues in the Centre, the Doherty and University Advancement.
As a key provider of fundraising expertise, guidance and strategic insight, the appointee will foster close collaboration with key stakeholders, and cultivate, solicit and steward the Centre's most significant donors and prospects, including principal gifts of $5M+ with a consistent focus on $1M+ gifts.
About YouYou are a proven principal and major gift fundraiser with experience developing and implementing fundraising strategies and campaigns, and leading integrated advancement programs within the higher education, health, medical research, charity and other relevant philanthropic sectors.
Your track record in major gift fundraising at the $1M+ level is underpinned by your ability to provide high-level leadership to stakeholders, knowledge of major international and national trends, outstanding diplomacy and interpersonal skills, and high-level influencing, negotiating and motivational capability.
Your passion for health advancement will see you thrive and succeed in this best practice, cutting-edge and dynamic globally renowned advancement team.
