Job Title: Leasing and Licensing Officer

The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Leasing and Licensing Officer to join our team within the Fisheries and Aquaculture Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing an efficient enquiry service, managing correspondence, and delivering accurate and appropriate verbal or written information.

This role ensures a high level of customer service support is provided to all Fisheries & Aquaculture lease and licence holders. The officer will contribute to delivering a range of fisheries and aquaculture related services through a collaborative approach with industry, other government departments, and other PIRSA Divisions.

About the Role:
  • Manage correspondence, including delivering accurate and appropriate verbal or written information
  • Provide an efficient enquiry service and ensure high level customer service support
  • Liaise with internal and external customers to provide high level customer service support
  • Support the administration of the Aquaculture Act 2001 and the Fisheries Management Act 2007
Key Responsibilities:

* Supporting the administration of the Aquaculture Act 2001 and the Fisheries Management Act 2007

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current driver's license and willingness to drive
  • Possession of a driver's license may be required for out of hours work and interstate travel
  • You will be required to undertake emergency management training and must be willing to participate in emergency preparedness, response and recovery activities required by government agencies
