About the Position:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a production team to ensure efficient operation of products and minimisation of waste.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the production team to achieve successful and safe operation of product
  • Build a culture where people act like owners to deliver business goals
  • Consistently provide open and honest feedback 'in the moment', recognising people for doing great work, and addressing performance issues early
  • Manage clear expectations for the team, provide appropriate resources and tools to get the job done, along with high support and high challenge
  • Identify and actively promote continuous improvement to products, processes and systems within any facet of the work environment
  • Collaborate with supply, maintenance, and planning teams to improve productivity and make necessary amendments to the production plan
  • Ensure strict food safety, legality and quality requirements are adhered to
  • Support change and foster an environment where change is embraced

Your Qualifications:

  • Min 2+ years in a Supervisory or leadership role
  • Food Manufacturing or other fast paced production/manufacturing experience would be highly regarded
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Extensive problem-solving skills - experience with root cause analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing processes and principles
