Oncology Nursing Role at a Global Leader in Cancer Care

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team at a leading global cancer care provider. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of transforming cancer treatment.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled nurse to work in a supportive and collaborative environment, alongside a team dedicated to delivering exceptional care. As a Registered Nurse at our Southport centre, your responsibilities will include:

  • Administering medications and IV infusions with precision and care
  • Patient assessment, education, and side-effect management with empathy and expertise
  • Insertion and care of peripheral and central access devices with confidence and competence
  • SUPPORTING procedures and providing pre/post care with attention to detail
  • Maintaining accurate patient records with diligence and integrity
  • Offering emotional support to patients and families with compassion and understanding
  • Assisting with day-to-day clinic operations with flexibility and adaptability

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in acute care nursing
  • Day Oncology experience highly regarded but not essential
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • IV cannulation and chemotherapy knowledge preferred (training available)
