Job Title: Senior Design Engineer

The Opportunity exists to appoint an experienced and skilled individual in the position of Senior Engineer.

This role will involve delivering timely and accurate technical designs while providing support to field staff, customers and colleagues.

The successful candidate will be able to produce accurate precision designs required for secondary protection and control (PAC) systems in the high voltage utility and renewable sectors.

You will deliver complex internal and external secondary system design projects and demonstrate capability of checking secondary system design outputs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead complex secondary systems design projects effectively
  • Produce accurate precision designs necessary for secondary protection and control (PAC) systems
  • Deliver intricate internal and external secondary system design projects with ease
  • Check secondary system design outputs thoroughly
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or equivalent are a must
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex secondary systems design projects is essential
  • 7+ years of experience in a similar role within Energy/Electrical utilities industries is a requirement
  • High-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills are mandatory
