Senior Lead Fire Protection Design Expert

Job Description:
As a Senior Fire Protection Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and contributing to multidisciplinary building services projects across various sectors. Your primary focus will be on providing fire protection design expertise that ensures compliance with technical, commercial, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement comprehensive fire protection strategies for clients.
- Provide expert technical guidance on fire protection design to ensure optimal project outcomes.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
- Establish strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to drive project success.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth and development of the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor of Engineering or Equivalent Industry Experience: A degree in engineering or equivalent experience in the field is required. Additionally, a minimum of 6 years' experience in fire protection engineering within Australian building services is preferred.
Relevant Standards and Codes Knowledge: Strong knowledge of relevant Australian Standards (AS/NZS) and National Construction Code (NCC) is essential.
Proficiency in BIM Tools: Experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM) tools, such as NavisWorks and Revit MEP, is highly desirable.
