About the Role

This position involves working with our Geraldton office and workshop team to ensure compliance with our Health and Safety Management System.

Key objectives include reducing exposure to principal mining and workshop hazards, collaborating with operational teams to implement risk mitigation strategies, and driving initiatives to minimize potential risks.

You will have significant experience in work health & safety, including senior or leadership roles within shutdown & contracting works on mine sites, preferably in Incident & injury management.

A Certificate IV or tertiary qualification in Occupational Health & Safety is essential. A Certificate IV in Training & Assessment and Lead Auditor Qualification would be highly regarded.

The successful candidate will possess excellent verbal & written communication skills, strong analytical, critical thinking & problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to engage with relevant stakeholders.
