Warehouse Operative Job Description

This role will be the main warehouse position in our family business, covering picking, packing, counting, receiving and shipping of inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet performance targets
  • Pick, pack and ship orders efficiently and accurately
  • Receive shipments, unload, check for damage and store goods safely
  • Support audits during inventory counts and stocktakes
  • Operate computer systems and stock counters with proficiency
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment at all times
  • Adapt to changing priorities and environments quickly
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management and supervisors

Requirements:

  • Strong personal responsibility and teamwork skills are essential
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities are required
  • Organizational and counting skills are necessary
  • Attention to detail is crucial with accurate picking and packing
