About our Inventory Management role
We are seeking a proactive thinker with an extremely high attention to detail to join our team as an Inventory Manager. As a key member of the inventory management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and stock management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, locations, and movements to ensure efficient stock control and minimization of stock discrepancies
- Coordinate the receipt, storage, and issue of stock in accordance with company procedures
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators such as stock turnover, stock level accuracy, and delivery performance
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers to source high-quality parts and materials at competitive prices
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Participate in regular stocktakes and cycle counts to ensure the accuracy of stock records and minimize discrepancies
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A proven track record of experience in inventory management, preferably within a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
- A strong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete tasks to a high standard
- Intermediate-level computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
