Sales Business Development Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to take on a challenging role in sales management. The successful applicant will play a crucial part in managing primarily offsite repair opportunities across all key accounts for our business line.
The main responsibilities of this position include delivering profitable business growth for repairs from regional site accounts, creating the repairs relationship with key people at the site and sharing those with the organization, connecting key interfaces.
- Identify investment/capex opportunities and convey customer requirements to capex sales in conjunction with the SAM.
- Seek and coordinate best resources and channels for customer-facing repairs activities.
- Understand customer business and argue Metso repairs added value at our Karratha facility.
Essential qualifications and skills include a proven track record of achieving sales targets, intermediate understanding of accounting procedures including profit and loss, budgets and gross margins, intermediate level of computer literacy in MS Office – Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Current motor vehicle license and passport.
- Ability to travel up to 70% of the time by motor vehicle and commercial flights.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasive skills.
- Excellent selling and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
