About the Role

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as a Metropolitan Operations Manager. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the profitable growth and operational performance of our Glazing, Home and Business team across Metropolitan NSW.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute operational plans to maximize profitability, customer service excellence, and competitive operational efficiency.
  • Manage financial delegations in accordance with company policy to achieve financial targets for your region.
  • Lead stakeholder management across internal leadership teams, operational teams, business partners, external customers, suppliers, industry bodies, trade unions, and partners.
  • Attract, develop, and retain top talent through effective recruitment and selection processes, succession planning, and coaching and development.
  • Maintain operational excellence within safety compliance and assessment, glazing competency, technical estimates, and quality control and management.
  • Oversee Supply Chain Management, including inventory management, stock purchasing, and ordering, as well as maintaining and supporting supplier operations.
About You
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a State Manager or equivalent within the Glass, Construction, Field Services, or Retail segments.
  • Demonstrated experience in growing sales at a local level.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience, with a proven track record of developing and maintaining internal and external relationships, respect, and trust.
  • Experience leading change to drive and create new possibilities that align with our business objectives and functional strategies.
  • Ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent through effective recruitment and selection processes, succession planning, and coaching and development.
