Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to contribute to our team's success. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings, plans, and designs for mechanical works, selecting tools and equipment, and assembling and installing new and modified mechanical assemblies.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare accurate drawings, plans, and designs for mechanical works
- Select and procure necessary tools and equipment
- Assemble and install new and modified mechanical assemblies, components, machine tools, and controls
- Operate and program CNC machines to achieve precise results
- Conduct site measurements, drawing, fabrication, testing, and installation to complete products
- Estimate material costs, quantities, machine requirements, and customer quotations
- Organize and supervise the inspection and maintenance of machines and plants
- Ensure designs and finished work meet specifications, regulations, and contract provisions
- Diploma, bachelor's degree, or higher in mechanical engineering or an equivalent field
- At least 2 years of experience in a related field
- Hold a driver's license, forklift license, and white card (general construction induction) as an advantage
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D programs such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks for drawing and fabrication
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
