Derivatives Trade Reporting Specialist Job Description:

The role of a Derivatives Trade Reporting Specialist is to oversee the daily OTC trade reporting process for Australian Retirement Trust. This involves working with multiple industry platforms, monitoring delegated reporting entities, and reconciling collateral, valuations, and primary economic terms.

The successful candidate will be responsible for onboarding new OTC instrument types, investigating root causes, and implementing exceptions as per relevant procedures. Additionally, they will participate in regular UAT testing and engage stakeholders to ensure any issues are addressed.

This permanent opportunity requires the ability to work collaboratively with the Investment ecosystem and make recommendations for efficiency initiatives within the delivery of the OTC Derivatives Trade Reporting management and quality assurance program.

 Key Responsibilities:
  • Run the daily OTC trade reporting to ASIC for internal trading capability
  • Monitor delegated reporting entities and reconcile collateral, valuations, and primary economic terms using multiple industry platforms
  • Onboard new OTC instrument types and coordinate closely with the broader Investment ecosystem
  • Investigate root causes and implement exceptions as per relevant escalation procedures
  • Participate in regular UAT testing and engage stakeholders to address any issues
  • Recommend and initiate efficiency initiatives within the delivery of the OTC Derivatives Trade Reporting management and quality assurance program
 Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of risk management principles, interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop trusted relationships with system vendors and delegated reporting entities.

They will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex information to stakeholders.
