The Commercial Acceleration Strategy team reports to the Chief Commercial Officer and works alongside other commercial divisions.

This role will lead a team of Commercial Acceleration Analysts and take ownership of special projects to accelerate value capture. These projects will involve collaboration with relevant commercial functions.

  • Identify opportunities across commercial functions and coordinate cross-functional efforts where required.
  • Lead a workstream within special projects to capture value acceleration.
  • Support preparation for executive updates.
  • Work with internal stakeholders across commercial functions and the VA Group.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Network, and Revenue Management teams.
  • Contribute to the Commercial Acceleration team through best practice sharing.
  • Analyse data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities, and understand drivers of commercial performance using analytical tools.

You'll be working closely with experienced professionals who share your passion for commercial performance improvement and strategy implementation.

To succeed in this role, you'll need 6+ years' experience in top-tier management/strategy consulting, a proven ability to lead teams and promote a data-led culture, and excellent communication skills.

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business or economics, is essential. An MBA or postgraduate degree would be desirable.

Cross-industry benchmarking and application in sales and distribution performance are also highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Performance Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to drive growth.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of Commercial Acceleration Analysts and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Project Management: Manage special projects to accelerate value capture and improve commercial performance.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years' experience in top-tier management/strategy consulting.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and promote a data-led culture.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business or economics.
  • MBA or postgraduate degree.
