Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled State Manager to lead our Northern Territory Injury Management and Rehabilitation division, based in Darwin.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a successful and expanding team, focusing on people development and day-to-day delivery of rehabilitation services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Manage a high-performing team where we embrace collaboration and new ways of thinking.
  • Operational Performance: Oversee the delivery of rehabilitation services, ensuring timely, value-laden, and customer-focused service delivery.
  • Growth Strategy: Drive operational performance deliverables, including customer performance outcomes, revenue growth, and customer engagement.
  • Collaboration: Work with the national management team to establish and execute an ambitious strategic growth plan.
  • Client Relations: Act as the lead point of contact for Workers Compensation scheme insurers and agents.

Requirements:
  • Proven Track Record: Proven occupational rehabilitation experience (4 years preferred).
  • Leadership Experience: People management experience (2 years preferred).
  • Certifications: Current accreditation/membership as an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist, Rehabilitation Counsellor, or Psychologist.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong current Workers Compensation knowledge.
  • Innovation: A genuine commitment to driving continuous improvement.
  • Financial Acumen: Ability to manage operational/financial requirements of a growing team.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Personal Qualities: Honesty, integrity, a good team attitude, and positive approach.
  • Certifications: Current Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
