
Senior Governance Specialist

As a key stakeholder and collaborative partner, you will be responsible for planning, organising, coordinating and supporting the development and implementation of governance policies, procedures and frameworks.
- Review and update the applicable policies, procedures, practice and frameworks at the institutional level.
- Develop and implement practical solutions based on stakeholder needs.
- Strive for excellence and consult regularly with clients to clarify who requires information, the purpose for which it is required, criteria for success and where and when advice and recommendation is required.
- Assist in the administration of contracts, including tracking key milestones, renewal dates, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate the implementation of governance policy, procedures, and frameworks.
- Develop and maintain records and reports related to governance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address potential risks and issues related to governance.
- A Degree with substantial subsequent relevant experience; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to contribute to the development of practical, fit-for-purpose solutions that meet stakeholder needs while maintaining alignment with organisational standards.
- Strong organisational and administrative capabilities, including the ability to manage multiple tasks, track key deadlines, and maintain accurate and complete records.
- Experience in preparing documentation and using administrative systems to support contract and compliance processes is essential.
- High-level written and verbal communication skills.
