Senior Legal Counsel Role

We are seeking a seasoned legal professional to provide strategic advice on complex financial products and regulatory matters.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide expert legal counsel on structuring financial products;
  • Analyze company obligations and develop effective solutions;
  • Work on various regulatory and legal matters, including financial services, corporate governance, competition, technology, intellectual property, information security, privacy, and marketing;
  • Respond to regulatory inquiries as required;
  • Prepare regular reports on regulatory activities and escalate material issues as needed.
Requirements
  • 8-12 years of experience as a financial markets lawyer with expertise in Derivatives, FICC, and/or Swaps products;
  • Proven track record of working at a senior level in financial markets from an in-house, private practice, or regulatory context;
  • In-depth understanding of legal, operational, compliance, and regulatory issues in financial markets;
  • Able to leverage personal and professional networks to collaborate with regulators, lawyers, and market participants;
  • Experience implementing corporate governance and compliance best practices;
  • Strong integrity, disciplined work ethic, and self-motivated attitude.
