Job Description
We are recruiting for experienced Cost Managers at various levels in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. As a Senior Cost Manager, you will be responsible for pre and post-contract quantity surveying duties including preparation of cost estimates, procurement and tendering, contract administration, variation, final account, etc. You will also be completing feasibility studies and writing procurement reports, estimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan, tendering and procuring, managing the pre-qualification stage, producing the tender list, putting the preliminaries together, tender analysis, producing the tender report and compiling the contractual documents.

You will be taking personal responsibility for making cost checks and carrying out valuations on larger projects and ensuring timely and accurate cost checking and valuation takes place. Additionally, you will produce monthly post contract cost reports and present them to the client. You will interface with the client and other consultants at all project stages. This role offers the opportunity to work autonomously as a team player while maintaining excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Required Skills and Qualifications
A recognised Degree Qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management is essential. MRICS / AIQS accreditation is ideal. Relevant work experience, ideally in a consultancy environment, is required. Proficient in the use of CostX is advantageous. Excellent command of written and spoken English, with excellent report and bid writing skills, is necessary. The ability to demonstrate attention to detail, work independently and be highly motivated and driven is required.

Estimated Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum
