We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef De Partie to join our culinary team. As a key member of the kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for planning and organizing daily kitchen operations, ensuring timely and high-quality food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and organize daily kitchen operations, including meal preparation, cooking, and presentation.">
  • Supervise and lead cooks and kitchen hands to maintain consistent quality and presentation.">
  • Implement and monitor waste reduction strategies to improve kitchen efficiency and control costs.">
  • Manage the preparation of daily specials and other popular items to guarantee efficient service during busy periods.">
  • Ensure strict compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations by monitoring storage and cooking temperatures.">
  • Handle customer feedback related to food quality or service promptly and professionally.">
  • Lead daily briefings with kitchen staff to communicate menu changes, special instructions, and health and safety updates.">
  • Contribute to menu development and enhancements by creating new dishes or variations that reflect seasonal produce and customer preferences.">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Chef De Partie.">
  • Cert IV or Diploma in the relevant field.">
  • Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, food trends, and menu development.">
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.">
  • Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.">
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.">
  • Financial acumen in managing kitchen costs, inventory, and food waste.">
  • Creative and passionate about delivering high-quality dishes.">
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.">
