Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Network Security Engineer to lead our network security operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain the security posture of our networks.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot routers, switches, and fabric switches for seamless connectivity.
  • Troubleshoot network problems and outages with a strong understanding of routing & switching technologies including MPLS, IPsec, VPN, BGP, and OSPF.
  • Evaluate LAN and WAN performance, perform troubleshooting, and resolve different problems.
  • Load Balancer Administration: Work with F5, NetScaler, Citrix load balancers for traffic optimization and high availability.
  • Firewall & Security Operations: Monitor and manage firewalls using FMC (Firepower Management Console) and Splunk, detecting and mitigating threats.
  • Hands-on experience on Cisco ACI.
  • Wireless Network Management: Maintain WAPs and wireless controllers for optimal performance and user connectivity.
  • Infra & Network Monitoring: Utilize tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, Cisco Prime/DNA Centre, and Cisco Licensing Manager for proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Backup & Disaster Recovery: Manage and maintain backup solutions.
  • Service Management & Compliance: Use ServiceNow, SCCM, and Intune for incident management, configuration tracking, and policy enforcement.
  • Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting: Analyze network health, conduct root-cause analysis, and recommend improvements.
  • Capacity Planning & Upgrades: Assess network usage trends, plan scalability, and implement enhancements.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Ensure adherence to security policies, industry standards, and maintain detailed network documentation.
  • Team Leadership & Training: Lead a team of Security and Network engineers, providing guidance and mentorship.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience with LAN/WAN technologies in following technologies:
  • Expertise in Network Infrastructure: Load Balancers (F5, NetScaler, Citrix), Fabric Switches, Routers, Layer 2/3 Switches.
  • Backup & Recovery Experience: Veeam, Windows Backup, Veritas.
  • Security & Compliance: Firewall management, Splunk for threat analysis.
  • Knowledge of Routing Protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaboration with Security & Infrastructure Teams.
  • On-call Support Rotation (if required).
Preferred Certifications
  • CCNA/CCNP.
  • F5 Certified Administrator.
