We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to oversee our airport retail operations in Cairns & Darwin. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations across multiple retail concepts, leading store teams to deliver outstanding customer service, and ensuring compliance with regulations, health & safety, and company policies.

\

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a multi-site or high-volume operations management role, strong people leadership skills, and a solution-oriented mindset. They will also have excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, flexibility regarding hours, and valid working rights.

\

In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about creativity and excellence. You will work closely with senior leadership to ensure everything runs smoothly, safely, and with excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing day-to-day operations across multiple airport retail stores\
  • Leading and supporting store teams to deliver outstanding customer service\
  • Ensuring compliance with airport regulations, health & safety, and company policies\
  • Collaborating with internal teams and airport stakeholders for smooth operations\
  • Tracking and reporting on operational costs, budgets, and forecasts\
  • Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment\
  • Providing coaching, guidance, and motivation to store teams\
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency\
  • Managing and resolving conflicts and issues\
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports\
  • Performing other related duties as required\
