Leadership Opportunity in Airport Operations

Elevate your career and take on a leadership role within our airport operations team.

We are seeking an experienced commercial driver with strong leadership capabilities to oversee our airside team.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that delivers exceptional service to customers while working in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers exciting opportunities for growth and development, supervising team members, coordinating work, and performing administrative duties.

  • Supervise and coordinate team members in the customer delivery department to ensure productivity and performance criteria are met.
  • Assist supervision of catering trucks within a designated work area to ensure safe and timely delivery of services.
  • Lead by example and perform all duties of a Driver to set a high standard of excellence.
  • Supervise, train and induct workers within a designated work area to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Organize and coordinate work within the designated work area to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Perform administrative and reporting duties as required to support the team's operations.

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong leadership, decision-making and organizational skills, as well as good verbal and written communication skills.

You must also hold and maintain possession of a valid ASIC card, Australian state/territory MR or greater driver's license, and authority to drive airside ADA.

Fork Lift license is preferred but not essential. First Aid Certificate and WHS qualifications are also desirable.

This role requires flexibility in working around flight schedules and a clean Police Record is mandatory.
