Job Description

We are seeking a talented Executive Chef to join our team at TGI Fridays' restaurant in Frankston VIC, Australia. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for producing high-quality American cuisine in a fast-paced environment while maintaining stringent food safety and execution standards.

Your duties will include ensuring that all meals are cooked to perfection, adhering to our recipe and plating guides, and serving dishes in a timely manner. You will also be expected to manage staff allocations, secondary duties, and general kitchen operations in conjunction with the Head Chef.

In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to food preparation and cleanliness guidelines, and participating in all technical aspects of cooking, including grilling, deep frying, shallow frying, sautéing, and blanching.

You will work closely with the Head Chef to improve current menu items, develop specials, and limited-time offers. Your attention to detail, adherence to standards, and ability to multitask will be essential in delivering exceptional results.

Requirements
  • Fully Trade Qualified or Cert 3 in Commercial Cookery preferred
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Able to work effectively under pressure
