Role Overview

TGI Fridays is seeking an experienced Head Chef or Sous Chef to join our team at our Sunshine Plaza restaurant in a massive growth phase. We are expanding rapidly and looking for individuals who have a passion for producing great quality food, providing exceptional guest experiences, and delivering food and service to Friday's standards.

About the Role

We are looking for an individual who has demonstrated experience as a Sous Chef, with a strong work ethic, energetic attitude, and a team player approach. The ideal candidate will be committed to upholding our brand standards, OH&S and food hygiene procedures, and have knowledge of how to complete a costed roster.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Producing high-quality food within our KPI target
  • Providing exceptional guest experiences by ensuring solid kitchen operations
  • Preparing and delivering our famous TGI Friday's food within a high-volume restaurant environment
  • Maintaining thorough cleanliness and kitchen hygiene
  • Delivering food and service to Friday's standards
  • Adhering to Australian legal requirements

What We Offer

In exchange for your skills and experience, we offer:

  • An attractive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Sous Chef
  • Energetic attitude, a team player approach, and strong work ethic
  • Passion for providing exceptional quality food to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Commitment to upholding our brand standards, OH&S and food hygiene procedures
  • Knowledge of how to complete a costed roster
  • Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (desired but not essential)
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
